  • Opps!!

I waxed my truck with NTX paste this past week. Love the product by the way. Well I put the can on my hood and it slid off and hit the driveway. Again, great product. The next day I go to add another coat and the wax had been jarred from the can and now spins when I try to turn the applicator to load it up. Would it be ok to put the can in a pan of warm or hot water to melt it a little to get the wax attached again? Any suggestions?

Sorry to open up quite an old thread here but can Tech Wax Paste be heated up safely using hot water or even the sun. Either to make it re-attach to the tin, easier to apply, or if it happened by accident by being left in a hot car for a few hours. I have read on the forums that NXT freezing is a really bad thing so surely heating is not so great either?

Also: A number of comments on the forum claim Tech Wax (liquid I suppose) is destroyed if allowed to freeze. Why is this - I assume the polymers get damaged in some way?

        Just curious....
