  • NXT Generation Winter Protection

I just had to share with all of you this picture I took of my car in February during a winter storm. This really shows what a clay bar treatment finished off with Meguiars cleaner wax, deep crystal polish and dual applications of NXT can do.

However, I did not wax this car in February. I did it all the way back in early November!!!

Look at how the rain beaded up on my car! This is after nearly 3 months of waxing it!!! I couldn't believe it. Talk about long term protection!

Now, keep in mind this picture is not of the best quality. I was in a rush heading out on a lunch break from work and I took this picture on a dark winterly day with a rain / sleet mix in the forecast with a low resolution camera phone.

But none the less the results are amazing.

My car is a 1997 T-Bird with over 100,000 miles on it. I really can't Afford to buy a new car so paint protection is a priority for me. So glad I found a line of products that really works for the long haul through winter.

How well does your car's surface hold up to the harshness of winter?

What beading protection! I have never seen beads this small with any other wax I have used.

I really don't think dual applications of each product is excessive.
I think that is very understandable, epecially in your climate.

The most excessive thing I ever heard of was some guy on this message board who placed 17 coats of wax on his truck over a 5 day period. Now, That man is dedicated.

Diminishing Returns? What is the theory behind that? Can you send me a link to the post? or at least explain the concept?
