Hello Everyone! My name is Greg I am kind of a newbie when it comes to detailing a vehicle properly. So any help and advice will be greatly appreciated. My wife has a black 2014 Toyota Camry and has dead dried up bugs on the front of the vehicle and I can't seem to remove the bugs to save my life, so there again any help and advice will be greatly appreciated

    WELCOME to MOL!

    Where are you in Mississippi?

IMPORTANT: Don't use a tough sponge or steel wool pad to remove bugs from your car - it will scratch your paint.

    Here's a couple of thoughts...

Take a towel soaked in hot water and lay in on the bugs. Wait about 30 minutes and see if they come off.

You might try soaking a cloth in rubbing alcohol and apply it to the bugs.

Some folks have had good results using WD-40 applied with a rag and let it sit on the bugs for 10 minutes.

The idea here is to melt the bugs exoskeleton so they melt away. Do not rub!

        Some good advice above.

Just to add: You will need to re-wax the area if you end up using any of the solvents above. Another good solvent to try is Bug & Tar Remover.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
