  • New from AZ with some picture of my first paint job!

Hi everybody. Checking in from Phoenix, Arizona. Currently daily drive a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT and have been getting into detailing these past few months. I recently re painted one of the panels on my car

    AFTER:

I did manage to get some over spray when applying the clear coat on some panels. Any recommendations on how to remove the over spray? I tried a claybar but that didn't do much. I ordered a more aggressive one already.

Welcome to MOL! Looks like a great job on the respray - have you been painting long or is this one of your first attempts?

As for the clay, if you've already ordered a more aggressive clay, like our C2000 Mild Professional Clay, that's a step in the right direction. Clay is a natural choice for overspray removal, but consumer grade clay is usually very mild and can be challenged if the overspray is on the heavy side.
