  • New From Joliet, IL with a lot of questions that I'll be posting in 101 :)

    Hello All!!

My name is Chris, and own a 2001 XJR and a '11 Durango Crew. Although I thought I knew quite a bit about detailing, I dont.

So I am here to learn, ask a lot of questions and hopefully be able to help others in the future!

Thank you all in advance and possibly see some of you in the future.

    Chris

PS, I have been dying to post since purchasing a bunch of Meguires stuff a few days ago....it takes too long to verify before one can start a thread

Sweet! I live west Joliet right by Shorewood. About 10 minutes from you. Thank you for the welcome! What are you detailing?

Right now I have a 2000 impala. I just really got into this last summer. I've always kept my car clean but never paid much attention to the paint. And since joining here I've learned so much all around detailing. I like to go thro the old threads cuz usually what ever question u might have its been asked before. But don't let that stop u if u still don't understand.

Nice!! And thank you for the advice. I used to detail at a Ford dealership many moons ago with a B&D rotary(now Dewalt I believe) and wool pads...Im comfortable with a rotary, however I couldn't afford at this time to purchase both so I went with the DA, especially because it just about foolproof and no swirls which I despise.
