Hello,

Just activated my account this day. I joined the Meguiars forum to stay up to date with the best products available (Meguiars). My main hobby has always been American muscle cars, owning many of the true classics. Included is a link I have on Youtube; showing my vehicle with Meguiars since its purchase.

P.S. - Having an issue uploading an avatar, or profile picture. All images are well within the pixel range. Any assistance would be appreciated.

can you be more specific on what happens when you try to upload avatar or profile pix?

Absolutely "nothing". I've tried numerous images well within the parameters. When I click save, the box reverts to a blank. Furthermore, I did not receive an email regarding a reply. Thank you for your help.

P.S.- Actually, I now received an email for your reply. Any help would be helpful.

There's two options: provide an external link to a photo and photo from your computer. Which one are you trying and can you paste the text of your photo in your reply here?

Looks OK, I just redid mine somewhat exceeding the max sizes and the system accepted it. Must be a bad file. Try another file so we can isolate it to (hopefully) just a bad file.

It is not a bad file. The image works in about 50 web sites.

Thank you very much, it is truly appreciated. Yes, that's excellent. I'm somewhat at a loss to understand as to why I was unable to upload any type of avatar, or picture, 'well within the parameters of the pixel range;, even below specified target range'. However, you managed to do so. This issue has occurred on some other car forums, which leads me to believe that there may be some unseen technical aspects that are in control of the administrator. If you have any free time, I would like to ask as to why I was unable to upload any avatar. Irrespective of such, again, I thank you very much for posting the avatar; "perfect".

You are quite welcome. We're unsure as to why you had the problem; we just tried using your avatar by linking from the image shown on your YouTube channel and it worked just fine for us. And that was doing it via the typical user interface "Edit Profile" rather than going in through the Admin Control Panel to do so.
