  • hello from Saskatchewan

Hello, I'm Jay. New poster to the forums but have been reading them and getting advice for over a year. I'm really starting to want to detail the outside of my truck more and more. I'm very experienced polishing metals (mainly aluminum) and detailing the inside of my truck. But I kind of said the "wax" setting on the coin op car wash was good enough vs doing it with a little tlc. My truck has a 8in lift and it's a crew cab so it is a little over whelming to polish and wax that monster. I'm excited to finally get to it and make it shine. I love meguiars products! Make the paint shine!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Welcome to MOL! Man, the thought of detailing a lifted crew cab pickup is more than a bit daunting. One good thing though is that when most of us are trying to polish the rocker panels on our cars we end up laying on the garage floor to do it. You can just stand there and reach that area right at chest level. The rest of the truck, on the other hand........well, a good set of scaffolding will come in real handy!!
