Hello to all. I figured I'd go ahead and intro myself. I've been a member since 2005. Just the past few months came back and have been hitting it hard to learn more of what I already do.
I of course live in Illinois. Been here all my life. I love cars, customizing cars and detailing cars. I've had so many vehicles that I've customized over my lifespan and have been to many car shows with those vehicles. Low rider mini-trucks were the big thing for me during the late 90's. Had a few cars in between those times, but still always showed them. One my my favorites, I no longer have, was my 2000 Ford Mustang GT that I spent WAY too much money on, lol. Got a lot of attention though. Best part, well one of them, was the Supercharged I installed bumping up the horses to 525 Crank and 450 RWHP!! MMMM love the whine of a centrifugal SC while sitting at a stop light. It's like, go ahead, please temp me, lol.
People always notice my attention to detail and I always enjoy getting those positive comments, that only help to re-enforce the job I'm already doing, whether it's showing cars (which I no longer do) or detail them, which I currently do.
I've been detailing for 20+ years. Mostly just my stuff and making them worthy to show. Probably in the past 10-15 or so years is where I've done more detailing for others and have really enjoyed it.
Anywho, you'll see me on and off here. I appreciate all the help and information I've received to date. So thank you to those who have responded to my posts. I shall see you around!!
My previous mustang, hence the name stang2000 for my user name. Oh an car was all shined with Meg's only of course. People couldn't get over the shine and deep gloss at shows. Oh how I miss it. Code Named: Under Pressure!
