  • Hello from Bakersfield

Hey everyone, my name is Dylan and I'm new to the classic car world. Just recently got my hands on a 55' Studebaker President "Speedster", sat in a storage unit for the past 25+ years. Its all in originals condition, paint is in great condition and I'm wanting to get her cleaned up. Haven't really done much detailing, you can say I'm definitely a newbie but would like to learn how to get that car show look. And do the process correct, and learn from the best.

What would be the best soap that is good for paint?
What are the steps to detailing?
    Any Advice is appreciated! Thanks!

              Re: Hello from Bakersfield

Hello everyone and Thank you for the welcome. I have been busy lately working on the Studebaker for the upcoming NSRA Western Street Rod Nationals here in Bakersfield at the end of this month. I have some pictures and I will post them, these pictures are from the car moving for Anaheim, CA where the car sat in a storage unit for the last 20 years, and needs a good cleaning. I do appreciate everyone's input on future questions I will have. Thanks!
