    Hello

    Hello, looking to see what I can do to preserve the 40 year old paint on my vintage BMW. My idiot Lab puppy jumped on the deck lid and top, and I was a little too aggressive in buffing out the scratches...

    i signed up for the Saturday clinic to learn something before I do more damage.

    Welcome!

    Did any colour transfer onto your cloth when you tried buffing out the scratches? If so, you have single stage paint.

      yes, it's single stage. It shines up nicely, but unfortunately it's getting thin in a couple of spots.
