Hello,

I'm from the north coast of Ohio, and I joined to see what all I can learn in addition to what I know. I'm a Chemist/scientist, I used to work in an R&D lab where we formulated waxes, soaps, lubricants, coatings, and the slick shiny sprays like you see in the stores. I'll look forward to discussing a lot of thing over the winter months...

I've been working on the detailing thing for a few years now, and other than the polishing and such, I think think I can do just about everything I need to do. I even have a couple of my own secret elixirs for certain things, like tires. I prefer to do most everything by hand, so you won't find an electric polisher/buffer in my garage. I do use a drill motor for the buffing wheel tho.

In any case, I don't know everything, and one can always learn more or pass on what one knows.

OK, but be forewarned, sometimes I will throw out something that's not exactly right, so see who's awake or attentive, or just to stir up thethoughts.
