Hello everyone my name is Swun. I am a detailer from Avondale, AZ. I started detailing my dad's truck when I was 12. Back then I didn't know much about detailing, just that windex and armor all was good enough. Now I use nothing but the best, Meguiar's. I have a small business that I started and it's just me working but hopefully one day it will grow into something bigger. I love detailing and collecting products and equipment/tools. I have a few products from the detailer line and really want to add to my collection. I am happy to become a member of this forum and I look forward to learning a lot from you guys. I will start taking pictures of some of my work and products and will post soon.

Re: Greetings from Avondale, AZ
Great collection. Looks like you are off to the right start. I dunno if it is just me, but I try to keep towels in something more sealed. I feel like random dust in the air gets on them when exposed. But seriously that is just me.
Also good to see another AZer join up. I am formerly of AZ. You are going to have to head out to Irvine for a Sat. or Thursday session at Megs. It is worth it especially with your aspirations of taking your work further.
I thought I knew most things car wash/detail oriented until my first Sat. class. Mike opens up the world of knowledge, at the end of the class he opens up the Megs mini store and you spend all your money. It is AWESOME!

Thanks s word. Now I actually have a plastic 3 drawer storage bin for all my towels, app pads, DA pads, rotary pads etc.. I learned that the same way that you mentioned, when they were collecting dust. It was when I was trying to clean windows when I noticed. The class sounds cool. Maybe one day. I know I would definitely spend some money at that mini store. What did you end up buying at the store? and what class did you take?

Re: Greetings from Avondale, AZ
Thank you Michael Stoops. Here are the pictures of my towels and pads that I has mentioned in my previous post, that I now keep in a storage bin. My LC CCS pads are in the bottom drawer but they are in the back covered so you can't see them. In the top drawer are my favorite towels. The 2 blue ones on the left are the best drying towel I have ever used. I bought them in this kit called detailers preference (made by eurow I think), these towels are so soft that I can use them for a pillow (but I won't). They aren't that big either, they are 16 in. X 24 in. Microfiber Dual Density Drying Towel. I can't find them separate anywhere, I can only find them with the kit. Also my sons jersey was near by so I threw it in the picture to represent for the King Lebron James, go Heat.
