    Hello All,

I am pleased to have become a member of Meguiars Forum. I'll come quickly to the point. I drive (not a daily) a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport, 12000 miles (mostly garaged), black. I am interested in removing light to minor moderate swirls, and then add depth. I'm very bewildred with all the industry product and varying opinions and recommendations. I read fine and complimentary attributes regards Meguiars, Adams, Pinnacle, Blackfire, etc. To the readers I have two questions: why do you use Meguiars, and if you previously used a competitor's product, why do you now use Meguiars?

    to MOL!

I use Meguiar's products mainly because of 2 reasons. First, the products they provide you simply WORKS at an affordable price. There's no need to get all fancy with the premium brands available in the market. They've been in the business since 1901 so I'm sure they know what they're doing. Second, they have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you have a problem with their products or you don't like it, just give their customer care hotline a call. If you want to rave about their products, you can do the same. They have their discussion forums for everyone to use. Also, they have their Saturday Detailing 101 class, Thursday Night Open Garage, and Advanced Classes available to everyone. And they're all for FREE!!! Who does that?!!? Most companies nowadays care for profits only but I wouldn't say that about Meguiar's. They truly care about educating you on car care and at the same time, share their passion with you. They wouldn't be doing all that if they didn't stand behind their product 110%. They are truly a world-class company with GREAT people running it.

There are other reasons but those are the main ones that stick out.

I have once ventured out to trying a competitor's brand but I came back to Meguiar's.

      Welcome to MOL.

I am a bit of a German product nut (American born with distant family still in Germany) and have started out with Meguiar's. Over the years I have been trying more and more German products and although a bit more pricey than Meguiar's, I find the added price justifies the quality. Not saying Meguiar's is a bad brand at all. I would rather pay to drive a BMW than a Cadillac understand?

I hope this dosent get me a time out on MOL. Just giving an honest opinion. I started out on Meguiar's and they will always have a place in my heart.

          Welcome to MOL

Meguiars is a great company, nothing but quality in all aspects.

I belong to a car club where guys take great pride in their rides, some use Zaino or other "premium" brands....whenever we meet up at cruises, etc. Members always ask me what I use to make my car look soo good, most think I use the fancy , highend premium stuff...many are surprised when I mention Meguiars
I do use stuff from Optimum, CarPro, Mother's, Collinite etc...but 90% of my detail goodies are Meguiars

Lotsa info here....just do a search for whatever, if you cannot find an answer, lotsa members here are super nice and very informative
