Hello everyone. My name is matt lobberecht...A.K.A "the YoungGun". I live here in knoxville,Iowa. Im in the detailing hobby..and im past the entry level/beginner level, so with that being said im still learning alot each time as i go. I do know alot of things now. Ive even upgraded a bit on my inventory so please feel free to view some pics on here that i attached to my post =]. I have more stuff on the way that i just ordered this weekend so its not completely updated yet, but this is what i have right now as of today (12/10/12). I love these forums because i can see what other consumers post reguarding detailing, or how-to's from one of the pros on here. It gives me better insight and tips on what to do so i can use these tips and tricks on my own vehicle or a customers vehicle when i detail their car =]. I look forward to chatting with everyone on here(hopefully) lol. And lets all enjoy this site. Thanks for all your time and efforts in advance everyone. I appreciate it.
The first picture is just an overall view of what i have. I do like mothers and meguiars.
The second picture is of a 12pk of mothers MF towels that i just got.(this is cheaper than buying one. 25.00 for 12) Then behind the MF's is Mothers MF applicator pads with a foam core. 12 of these also. I use these mainly for paint use only, like applying a detailer or quik wax for the towels and either a wax, ultimate compound, scratchx 2.0 or something pain related with the applicator pads.
Third picture is of meguiars supreme shine towels, also 12 towels, and my interior mini duster. This you can get at oreilly's or any other auto parts store that carries detailing supplies. It works really well, especially this one that i have. I use the towels the same way for paint use only. Then the other towels next to them are my waffle weave glass cleaning towels. I bought these on detailing.com. I must say im impressed with these towels for paying 2.49 each vs. 9.99 on autogeek.net =[.
Fourth picture is wheel polishing towels use only. These were originally for my glass cleaning but they didnt work all that well like i hoped. Then i have two meguiars wash mitts(gotta be prepared) lol, and a gentle bug scrubber. I wash this the same way as my towels....First i use this detergent called Micro-Restore MF detergent which it has directions on how to tell you how much to use, then the i dont use bleach, no fabric softener, no dryer sheets and no dryer at all. I smply air dry them on a drying rack which you can get a t walmart for 6 or 7.00. You can hang atleast 12 towels by themselves on one rod, or if you choose to overlap them thats fine, they will dry the same. Hope you all enjoyed these =]. Thanks for looking
