Finally got my own shop !
Hello everybody, I'm Cody , after years of working for other people in lot's of shops as a shop helper, painter's helper, detailer, and finally painter I found my self burnt out with typical production body shop work and exposure to harsh painting chemicals. I left the industry to try different jobs in construction and aviation and found the same type of hard work and little pay with all the same B.S. while working for other people. I have finally bit the bullet and decided to venture out on my own and try to do things my way! I have a good work ethic and I am looking forward to building new relationships within the automotive detailing industry. Over the years I believe I have learned a few things, though I feel that I still have a lot to learn. I appreciate this and similar forums for the great wealth of knowledge and information. My shop is in Portland, Oregon and is currently under construction, I'm hoping to have River Auto Detail LLC up and running within the next few weeks, though I believe my side jobs will have to help me survive through winter, either way I will be ready for spring and summer with my new PC in hand ! " I believe that good work takes time and I intend to provide my customers with good 'old' fashioned quality and accountability ". thank you Meguirsonline, I will be sure to drop some post/pics of my work !
