  • New here

Hello all my name is Jamie and I'm a truck driver that paints and does airbrushing on motorcycles for a little extra $ on the side. I reside in NJ and was recently introduced to some of Meguires products by a fellow coworker. I really like the results their products produce. I use alot of House of Kolor paints and combined with Meguires compounds and polishes, I know my customers are getting a high quality job. I look forward to giving and getting advice from the members here and when I can, I will post some pics. Thanks for letting come aboard.

      Welcome to MOL Jamie.

What paint guns do you shoot with? I am a painter myself and shoot with a SATA jet 4000 b with a 1,4 nozzle.

        Thanks Marc and Smack.
Smack, believe it or not I use a combo set of gravity fed guns from Harbor Freight Tools. I mainly use the smaller gun cause the parts I do are small enough for that. The gun may not cost hundreds of dollars, but if you know how to paint you can make any gun work for ya. I'm not taking anything away from the more expensive guns cause in my day when I was painting for a living, I used a siphon fed Devilbiss gun, long before the gravity fed guns were around. So, I'm a little partial to Devilbiss. It's not the gun that makes the job great, it's the painter behind it.

                    That tank looks nice.

I agree with you 100% about the skill set. I have guys here at work that shoot with SATA and still cant shoot right. Why even bother with a nice gun if you cant use it?

Anyways look forward to seeing more of your work.
