    Hello from Michigan!

    Hi, I'm from the GR area of Michigan. I have a 2000 dodge Dakota that has either a problem with clear coat failure or oxidation on the roof. I'll post pics in the next couple days to give a better idea of what it is. Just curiuos of what should I do to clear it up. Big blotchy white spots on black paint. Thanks!

          Hmm.. looks like CCF.

          Unfortunately that means you'll have to re-paint.

            Welcome, from a former Michigan resident, to MOL! Your images are no longer showing up so we can't comment directly on the paint condition, but if Davey thinks it's clear coat failure we're inclined to trust his judgement.

              yup. thats clear coat failure. you'll definitely need a repaint.
