  • Yeehaw!

    Hello from Ft Worth, Tx!

Just purchased my DA polisher (my first polisher ever actually), 6 sets of various pads and a can of NXT paste wax and I'm looking forward to learning how to use this stuff to produce superior results not only for my own vehicles, but for profit, too. Been doin' the amateur thing for about 29 years and life is now taking me in a new direction so.....here I am.

I've been using several of Meguiars' products for years with exceptional results and I'm looking to expand my knowledge and use of the product line. Looks like I've come to the right place!

Congratulations on your first ever D/A polisher!!! I hope you got the G110v2 because it's the best one out there. I would highly suggest you read through the article below to get yourself acquainted with using your polisher:
    D/A Buffing 101: An Introduction to the G110v2 (and-similar)

Also, since you just got a can of the NXT paste wax and you also have a D/A polisher now, I would highly suggest getting the W9204 4" Foam Finishing Pad and the S3BP backing plate to apply your paste wax. Instructions on how to do it can be found here:
Applying paste wax via G110v2 or other D/A

Thanks for the input Marc. Interesting you're in the west valley.....I used to live in the east valley (Mesa) until '07. The wife and I don't like it here and will be moving back to the valley soon.

Howcome you don't like TX? AZ's so hot.. I'm thinking about moving to SoCal, not just because of the weather but to be closer to Meguiar's HQ!!! Woot!

                Re: Yeehaw!

Yes, Az is hot, but the humidity is low (unlike TX when it's hot), I miss the laid-back desert lifestyle, the scenery, hiking and being able to go from desert to mountains if I choose in just a few hours.

Btw, yes, I did purchase the G110v2.
