Hello MOL

I just got my first new car, a 2012 Honda Accord LX-P. I've never had a new car before, so I want to make sure I maintain it. I thought that involved washing it weekly and waxing it every 6 months.

After several trips to the various auto parts stores in my area and a few internet searches, I find myself here. Until two weeks ago I had never heard of "claying your car" or polishing it before waxing it. Looks like it's time to start a new hobby!

Bill my wife went to GHHS, class of 2000. I went to Monroe.

Scott, a new addiction is right! As soon as I got done working on my car this weekend I realized that I'm now hooked on the smooth feeling of a freshly clayed, polished, and waxed car. At least my wife will approve of this addiction after I get done working on her Civic.
