  • Noob from So Cal

Hi. My name is Dean and I was introduced to this forum by long-time Meguiars trained pro Bob Duprat. Bob has helped me with my own cars (black '02 Z06 Corvette and fire engine red '65 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C). I finally decided to get serious and go beyond the Porter Cable I've been using for years, as Santa just brought me a Makita 9227C. I want to learn how to use it so Bob suggested I join the forum and sign up for some clinics in the So Cal area. I also really like using the Meguiars products...very effective.

I will keep a look out for the next clinics in the area so I can learn how to use my new tool effectively without creating holograms and all other types of paint defects that noobs tend to do to their paint finishes.

        Welcome to the party, Dean!

You'll want to sign up for Meg's beginning and advanced classes, not to mention coming down to some Thursday Night Open Garage sessions too.

Thank you for the welcome, everyone. I'm in Yorba Linda (North OC) and I signed up for the January course. And trying to keep a BLACK daily driven Z06 spotless is a sickness that only the right tools, training and patience can cure. LOL

I actually grew up in Yorba Linda and I sure do miss it
I grew up right near Bryant Ranch Elementary school
What part of Yorba Linda do you live in?

                  Hey Dean,
Glad you decided to sign up! You will have a great time with the folks in Irvine. They are gonna love your Cobra. I guess the only downside is you won't need me anymore, because you are going to learn lots.
