Hey guys,
I've had my fairlane for a while now and haven't really detailed the car before.. Also, have never really fully detailed paint before.
I have purchased quite a few of the Meguiars range and am going to be applying it by hand.
I started by washing the car thoroughly with Gold Class wash. I have clayed the whole car with Quik Clay and re-washed to get off any loosened contaminants that the clay hadn't removed.
Now it's up to the Ultimate compound. I am going to go over the whole car twice, using microfibre applicators and towel.
After that I am going to use ultimate polish, with a foam applicator. Again, I may go over the whole car twice, but I will assess with a light after the first application.
Then I will be sealing with Gold Class Carnauba wax, using a foam applicator. I will leave it in the garage for a couple of days after that, the do a light second coat of wax.
What I wanted to know is. Am I on the right track?
All of it will be hand applied.
Here's a pic of my car before the treatment.

Any advice is appreciated..
Cheers
Kris
