Not sure what most people write but I"m new to the forum, (today) I live near st. louis, MO in Illinois, I like driving lead sleds from the 60's and 70's. And I can't figure out how to add a profile picture.

Hmm the profile picture, that used to be my job to help people out with that. I haven't been on the forum much in the last few years and forgot how. lol I don't remember my password to get in and do it for you but maybe I can look around and at least walk you through doing it yourself.

Here's the procedure to add your profile picture:
1. Click "Forum Actions" that's below the gallery button. This will give you a drop down menu.
2. From the drop down menu, click "General Settings".
3. Once it brings you to your settings page, look for the "My Settings" section located in the left side of the page. Click "Edit Profile Picture".
4. Viola! You can either select a link location or directly specify a picture file from your computer. After you're done then you can hit "save changes".

You can also change your avatar picture. Instead of clicking "Edit Profile Picture" in step 3, just click "Edit Avatar" below it.

I keep getting an error message "invalid file" I've tried uploading it from my computer, and i've also tried using the URL off of photobucket. The pic size is smaller than suggested. What is going on?
