  • Longtime lurker first post...

I've been registered here since '04 and never posted before. I poke around on Autopia too.

I own a PC 7336, Meg's backing plates, Sonax pads, and mostly use Meg's products when I detail. Most recently I put on a coat of Color X via PC and polishing pad set on 4, topped with #26 applied by hand on the wife's '04 Mountaineer Premier. I just love Color X. It wipes off so easily and seems to darken the paint a bit too! I am running low on it and will need to add another bottle to the collection soon. I am thinking I might like to try Color X topped with either NXT 2.0 or GC+. Not sure yet. The wife's truck is gold metallic so I'm not sure which would look better.

If you like the slight darkening I'd recommend UW. I used the UW on my 04 Lexus RX330 which is a similar color to yours and it is a great look and a really long lasting protectant.
