HI Folks, I just took my 1964 Gold Cadillac Deville out of out pole barn. It has the original finish, no clear coat. I'd like some advice as to how to make it shine again. So far we have used rubbing compound by hand.

Re: 64 Cadillac Deville
I'm not too slick with the computer and it's dark right now. I'll ask around to find out how to do it. I'd love to send pics. I bought the car from some old folks in FL and have owned it at least 20 years. I only drove it in the summer but haven't used it for about 8 years. I love the car!! Believe it or not everything still works.

Re: 64 Cadillac Deville
Take a look at what Nick Chapman did to a '60 Olds 88. Search by user with nick chapman, then find his EXTREME MAKEOVER OLDS 88. He used a rotary with SOLO. He also is very capable on paint polishing. After a good wash and clay, you might try the new MF system with a DA polisher. Is it heavy with oxidation? Please take pics and learn how to post them before trying anything.
