  • Hi new to site and to black paint!!!!

Hello my name is Ed, I'm new to the site and this is my first post , I just got a new black dodge ram, and will like to know what y'all use to wash, polish and wax a black car, I have always own white cars but, this time I want it something different, black cars look the nicers out there when they are properly detail, thanks in advance.

    Hiya Ed

Good news, black indeed looks amazing when clean, polished and swirl free. Not so good news... it takes time and dedication to keep it that way. Someone somewhere coined the phrase I believe to be absolutely true... black isn't a color, it's a part-time job. Full time if you want to keep it at it's potential. It all depends on what you're satisfied with.

Product selection is less important than proper techniques and tools. Preventing swirls by proper washing and drying means you don't have to remove them by compounding and polishing. Soft microfiber towels will have to become a part of your arsenal

There's a ton of How To info for you to browse through as well as videos.

Quik Tips, Ask Meguiar's, Shop Talks, TV Commercials, Special Projects & More.

I'd suggest you give some thought to processes and tools first, then think about products.
