I have a couple of small parking paint transfer spots that I would like to remove without repainting if at all possible. Looking for an answer brings many opinions and methods. What is recommended and what do I need to bring success without a lot of cost?

Re: Paint transfer removal
Use a solvent like lacquer thinner or mineral spirits to get the paint transfer off and some megs ultimate compound to remove any scratches. Removing paint transfer is one of the easier things to remove but its the gouges left behind that are usually not fully repairable.Alan T.

Ultimate Compound will remove the paint transfer with light to moderate elbow grease, but the scratches left behind by the original impact will likely take a bit more energy to fully remove. And in some cases, these scratches are so deep that the best you can do, short of a repaint, is to just minimize their appearance.Michael Stoops
