  • Dazed and Confused

I just bought the whole collection of Meguiar's Ultimate and i was wondering if these products is good. I have a Porter Cable 7424 XP and I have no clue what kind of pads to get for it.If anyone has any information, it would be appreciated...

Yes, the whole Ultimate line up is good, in fact, they are excellent. There is a large variety of pads to go along with the polisher/products from Meguiar's and various other manufacturers. You will typically want some polishing and finishing pads, and depending on the condition of the paint, you may need a few more aggressive "cutting" pads. Do a quick search on here in regards to polishing pads and read up on other's takes on the best type of pad for your needs.

Maybe you should try the Search button on top of this page and search for reviews on the Ultimate line. We've discussed numerous time on them already.

you bought the right products so far. congratz

i would go with 5.5" lake country hydro pads. get 2-4 tangerine/cyan and 2 red wax pads. If you plan on doing family members cars or friends then get some surbuff pads 5.5" and get 2 packs and a bottle of m105.
