Re: Want to re shine my Honda

Well, Tools-Plus had a good deal on a starter kit. http://www.tools-plus.com/porter-ble-7424xp-lckit.html Now it's on its way. Not sure what the counter weight is for? Maybe for heavier pads. Any way trying to read all I can about "How to's" + "What For's" etc.. You know learn a little before I get it. Keep you informed after 1st usage. Thanks again. Fingers crossed.

Re: Want to re shine my Honda

Well, Got all the equipment today. Now for the big event. Just waiting for right time, and ambishun. I'm disabled so got to work up the strength, BUT I AM looking forward to the outcome, very excited to start. Any hints would be welcomed.
      Thanks

I use the Meguiars pads and DA, so just the 3 colors to pick from.

I think the LC white pads are a popular starting point. Getting into the cutting pads from any company can cause some marring.

You can certainly do a panel or so at a time, no need to do the whole car.

        1. Wash/QD
        2. Clay
        3. UC
        4. Wax
        5. Wax

        Then onto the next panel.
