Just joined what looks like a very usefull website here !.
A bit about me...
Main interest is airworthy Warbirds...not too fussed about jets. I've taken to travelling to the States each year to get my fill of real planes (too restrictive by far here in the UK...even Duxford...'Oy, dont walk on the grass during the flightline inspection !!!').
I'm in the process of scratch building a full size North American Aviation P-51D Mustang cockpit section and am around 40% of the way through the build. I'm getting to the stage where I want to start polishing the fuselage to make her look good, so I thought it best to join up here and get the best info from the 'Pro's on what I should / shouldn't do.
What kinda finish am I aiming to achieve ?
