    Hello everyone,
I am glad to be a part of this forum. I don't know why I didn't join a long time ago but while surfing for answers, I came (again) upon Meguiar's site and decided to become a member. I have a question regarding #6 Cleaner and wax: I recently bought a 2008 Mustang and it's in pristine condition. I brought it home and immediately clay barred it and for the first time used #6 on it. The stuff is amazingly easy to apply and taking it off is a snap. I'm wondering about all of this ease. Usually there is a price for simple stuff and I'm thinking that I should apply something over the top of this. I don't have a problem waxing once a month or so. My cars sit in a controlled enviornment, they only come out when the weather report is good for 4-5 states surrounding my home so durability comes second to looks. BTW, I used 4 small micro-fiber cloths to remove all of the dried wax. Is that enough? The car looks great but should I switch cloths more often?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

I'll use one the whole time if it seems to remove ok....

As for adding a wax on top, you certainly can. Using two coats of wax is recommended by Meguiars, and a cleaner/wax followed by wax is a very common quick detail here.

You could use something like Nxt 2.0, Ult Wax, Gold Class+, #26 after...

      Welcome to Meguiar's Online, Jeff.

You can put any finishing wax on top of M06 Cleaner Wax: either natural or synthetic, for extended protection.

When you wipe off wax turn your towel over to expose a clean side for a final product removal (to get it out of every little valley). Don't overuse wax as it's gonna be harder to remove it.
