Hey New here from Michigan. Love taking care of my vehicles.
Just bought a Black Truck after owning a White one for 12 years.
Washed it for the first time and put a few minor scratches in it so I came on here to find out how to properly clean and take care of my new Truck.

1. To start with black really shows swirls and scratches.
2. Never drive it through a "Tunnel-o'-swirls" car wash.
3. It's the absolute best color when it's done correctly!!!

To learn about caring for black paint you have come to the right place.
The FIRST thing you need to do is wash without scratching the paint
Here's my short "Product List" that you'll need to wash black paint.

2) 5 gallon (CLEAN-NEW) buckets
2) Meguiar's Professional Grit Guards
1) Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo
2) Microfiber Wash Mitts
2) Water Magnet® Microfiber Drying Towels
