Okay, I am "DaGonz" and I am back... the last time I visited here was 09/11/2010
I didn't do much detailing in 2010.. wifey and I had an addition put on the house, converting one of the garage bays to a new entry/mudroom and laundry room. It was a construction zone for about 4 and half months.
We added another garage bay to make up for the one lost and did a renovation of the existing space
Wifey got her laundryroom/craft room, and I got a biiger and better garage out of it!
The old 2 car attached garage was just the studded walls with the standard firewall where it met the house and was a basic "no frills" garage.
The new garage space is fully drywalled, insulated and has provisions for heat and hot and cold water. The garage space never got below 40 degrees this winter. It is set up with the T8 florescent lighting, and with the white walls inside is almost as bright as daylight.. it beats setting up my old lighting to detail in the garage. The new garage also has an pulldown staircase and storage above the garage.
I am looking forward to resuming detaling.. for me, it is a paying hobby that I find to be a form of therapy!
