Hi Im Kevin from England Manchester and I own a black Ford C-Max ZETEC.

I am new to this forum. Also I am new to using meguiars products will be getting them this weekend. Any recommendations will be helpfull

I was going with meguiars gold class car shampoo and conditioner, meguiars nxt generation tech wax 2.0, meguiars compound for some scratches on my hood or scratch x 2.0 now do I use it all over the hood or just where its scratched ? meguiars quick interior detailer, meguiars nxt generation glass cleaner, Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tyre Protection or Meguiars High Gloss Hot Shine Tyre Spray. not sure which one i should get ultimate compound or scratch x 2.0 as the car is only 1 year old hope you can help

ScratchX 2.0 (due to its size) is more suitable for small isolated problems, like scratches and blemishes.

Ultimate Compound is a good paint cleaner. You may not use it much now, when the car is new, but soon you may need it.

Ultimate Polish is a cleaner/ polish and has very rich polishing oils so you may like it as well.

I can't really recommend to you one wax because it all depends what you want out of your protection. However Ultimate Wax offers longest lasting protection, adds depth to your paint color and darkens it slightly. If you like natural waxes Gold Class Carnauba Plus or M26 High Tech Yellow Wax will be your choices. Next Tech Wax 2.0 is a great synthetic wax as well.

Endurance lasts longer than Next Insane Shine Tire Coating. If you wipe off the residue, before the product fully dries on your tires, you can achieve less gloss.

I really would also add clay bar kit to your collection for bonded contaminant removal.

Welcome to MOL. NXT2.0 is great for black, apply really thinly (i apply in straight-ish lines) and do the 'swipe test' to make sure it is fully cured before you remove it with a MF cloth. Then step back and admire

Swipe test (quick swipe of the paint with a clean finger, if the paint is clear and glossy your good to remove if not wait a while longer) Should take around 10mins max.
