  • Jeep Wrangler with hard top

I have a Jeep wrangler with black hardtop and black fender flares. Ineed to know how to recondition these items as they appear dull and faded.

The black textured plastic you mean?

I'd be looking at some Ultimate Protectant.

Agreed, just make sure to use a small amount and work it in thoroughly. Don't load up with it - a little bit goes a very long way, and it can do wonders for refreshing and darkening up old, weather plastic and vinyl trim. When used correctly (ie, sparingly and thoroughly worked in) there won't be any excess to wipe off later and it will be dry to the touch in a matter of minutes.

As you know, you need to make sure they're really really clean before you start. I've used a soft brush & warm GC car wash soapy water to work the texture thoroughly so that no dirt/dust is embedded. The UP will make the parts look magnificent.
