  • Long Time Gone Back Now

Hey I am not exactly new but have been abscent for awhile and I back.
Please forgive me if I am not in the right forum.
I am expecting a brand new 2011 Convertible Camaro. She will be wearing a Cyber Grey Metalic paint job with a Infernol Orange leather interior. Now I shall not be driving her until early to late April on account that winter lingers for a bit. Besides there is still road salts and other track control on the street surface. My two questions:
    1. Is it wise to wax a fresh paint surface
    2. How about a leather protector wax
    Thanks

Be sure to call the Dealer and ensure they do not wash the paint in anyway. Just let them remove the shipping paper, and give it to you.

    1. A new car isnt 'fresh' paint. It is baked at the factory, and also has had some sitting/travel time in most cases. So yes, you can detail it right away.

    1. Wash
    2. Clay
    3. Cleaner/Wax or ColorX
    4. Wax

    2. There is no leather 'wax', but a good general product is the Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner.
