  • Hello from California!!

Hello Everyone! I joined this forum, simply because there are soooo many products out there on the shelves today, that it's gotten way WAY too confusing... I went to Autozone yesterday and left with NOTHING. I was looking for ZYMOL and/or MEGUIAR's products (wax and wheel cleaner) for my BLACK 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. What a disaster. SOOOO many choices!!! What's the best wax for this black SUV?? Any decent wheel cleaners? (I've got 22" TechArts). Any ideas? Suggestions?? Thanks!

PS: I'll try to upload a pic

The most gentle wheel cleaner will be the Aluminum Wheel Wash. Hard to find in stores sometimes though. If your wheels are Clear Coated or Chrome, and just regular brakes, the All Wheel Cleaner would also work, and should be easier to find.

For a one-step product, ColorX would be my favorite. Although we can explain doing more if you want to do more.

If you cant find stuff, I like to order from autodetailingsolutions.com.

Welcome from SD CA, I can't help you much, I'm learning my self about Meguiars products as well. The couple products I have bought all ready, have been the best since I got my truck last Oct.

I'm sorry there is no way we can help you here. Please private email me your location and I'll take the car off your hands. Sounds hopeless to me and you don't need the frustration.

Okay, okay, just kidding. There are folks here who will love to help you out. Waiting for some pictures. Get some photos of the problem areas. You'll get some great advice by hanging out here. Murr's already started and I'm sure will offer more when the pictures go up.

The emphasis will be on a clean car, with a smooth surface, starting with the least aggressive method on a TEST SPOT.

Now hurry up and get the photos, waiting to see those wheels
