Greetings!
Just obtained porter cable tool to keep our cars looking good, and correct issues.
Ordered kit from tools plus with the pads and 3 meguiars products.
Must say that the horror stories and first hand recent experiences are what drove us to self care.
1. Purchased 2 new cars in august. Dealer had them cleaned up for us. Both cars came back riddled with holograms. Unacceptable. But very common.
2. Ran the new black compact thru an automatic car wash with the rolling soft brushes. Cut deep scratches all over the finish on sides, front and rear bumpers, can feel many with fingernail. I don't think that this falls into the realm of "reasonable" damages that the car wash shouldn't be responsible for.
3. Want to keep daughter's red escort as shiny as possible.
We enjoy driving and beautiful vehicles, and will overcome the recent incidents. Lessons learned the hard way.
