  • sun cream on paint

    Hi All

I'm just about to start detailing a car for a friend and he has sun cream finger prints on the car. The paint is blue so it really stands out. I am thinking maybe cutting it back with scratch x.
But if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

    Regards
    Webbster

SwirlX may be a better starting point if you have it there.

What cleaner were you going to use over the whole car?

      Hi Murr1525

I am thinking of using a heavy degreaser first then try your suggestion of swirl x and then finish off with Meguiars 9 polish.

I ma not sure #9 after SwirlX will do a lot, but you can see if you like it.

Though I was thinking more along the lines of using SwirlX over the whole car, you would probably get more out of that than a degreaser over the whole car, unless it is really covered in something.
