Hi, i'm ffboy! i actually started here in MOL back in october '10. I should have posted or introduced myself first before posting in some of the threads here.. I am sorry for that. I just got too excited. But i am learning from you guys, and i'm also a bit jealous with some of the work you've done with your cars. However, i don't consider myself a bad car clean/detail guy..

I am an avid car cleaner myself, and i have tried other brands (mothers, meguiars). Now, i'm doing a bit of a "comparison" between NXT 2.0 and collinite 476s.. maybe i'll post my findings/observations regarding these 2 great products.

thanks! I've used meguiars products before, and its the following:

1. deep crystal carnauba wax'
2. SwirlX
3. Leather cleaner

NOw, i have NXT 2.0, paste and liquid, swirlX (again!) and the ultimate quik wax. All good products, but in my opinion the best of the best meguiars products in concept and what it promises and delivers are the ultimates. the ultimate quik wax and ultimate quik detailer. With the quik wax, especially on a black car, it gives depth and and that wet look we all want in a good wax. and its very easy to use.. The ultimate quik detailer for me blurs the line between spray wax and detailer. And it gives some form of protection normally associated with spray waxes..

I do find it hard to stick to 1 particular car care brand.. I used mothers in the past, but i am not shifting my allegience.. i just like to try and compare different waxes and see if their (meguiars included) are true or which gives better shine, etc. etc., etc. One product of meguiars (or line of products) i plan to use/buy again and again is the swirlX.. I had consistently good results with that.
