My 2nd Tour & Hello All!

As my thread title says, this is my 2nd tour back in MOL. Somehow I can't log on to my old username anymore - perhaps I was away for too long?
I first joined MOL back in 2004 and was learning how to detail by hand - was driving a Black Honda Jazz. Imagine the swirls I had back then for an amateur!
I learned a lot from all of you here during those years and it has kept my Jazz in pristine condition.
Until...I moved to Vietnam & Laos for 2 years due to my job posting in 2008. So the Jazz was in "good" care of my wife - who didn't really take care of it other than washing it at car wash centres. I didn't have the time during my trips back home since they were only for short 4 days each time - usually spent it with my family.
Finally came back earlier this year and I was shocked to see my Jazz not washed for more than 2 months! The last wax session I had on it was 2 yrs ago!
So out came my old arsenal I kept in my store room. Still had the following in gd condition:
1. Shampoo Plus
2. Hyper Dressing
3. DC Paint Cleaner
4. DC Polish
5. M26 - paste
6. M16 - paste
7. Gold Class Wax - liquid
8. NXT 1.0 - liquid
9. Cleaner Wax - liquid - My very 1st Meguiar's Product
10. ColorX
11. NXT Speed Detailer
12. NXT Glass Cleaner
13. Trim Detailer
14. NXT Trim Protectant
15. ScratchX
Tested all of it and it all worked fine. For the liquid waxes, I just needed to give them a good shake. Gave the Jazz a good wash, clay, ColorX then a top coat of NXT 1.0 by hand - which till this day I THANK MURR1525 for sharing this with me back in 2004!
The Jazz came back to life and when I sold it a month ago, the buyer commented on my paintwork that still looked good though there were some swirls I didn't get rid of. For this I thank Meguiar's for such excellent products!
Now I'm driving a Candy White Golf Mk6 GTI and I have bought myself the UQW, New GC Leather Cleaner & Conditioner, & Ultimate Protectant to try. As usual the results were outstanding!
Love the UQW - so easy to use and the beading is mindblowing (it just rained over here this evening)
The Ultimate Protectant is also fabulous! I can see that it repels water like a wax - I applied it to my side strip & also the diffuser.
The Leather care - Can't see nor feel the results but it smell nice to me.
Meguiar's Products are one of my top 3 best investments in my life! Cos over here, they are freaking pricey and considered as rich man's wax. The average joe will only go as far as Turtle Wax. But I believe with my old arsenal of Meguiar's dating back to 2004 that are still in great condition is a testament that it is all worth the money plus great results.
