    Hello!

My real name is Nikki. I just bought my first new car back at the end of June. I got a Candy Red 2010 Ford Fusion SEL. I'm terrified for UV fading on my car and spend at least 3-4 hours detailing my ride on the weekends at least once or twice a month. In between I run it through the car washes but there were a couple that were not touchless. Now I see the beginnings of swirls. I got a hold of the swirlx and nxt wax and was truly impressed. The Meguiar's products brought out a shine like no other product I had used before. The goldflake just danced in the paint because of the quality product. Needless to say I'm now a Meguair's fanboy (fangirl actually). Hopefully a few more Saturdays and some elbow grease in combo with Swirlx will take out the remaining stragglers left on my clear coat.

Sortof but its a tiny shack. I'd have to crawl out through the trunk. I plan on knocking it down and building a decent one. Right now I just detail at a carwash despite their "no bucket or drying in bay" rules.

Thanks guys! I'm trying to take good care of it. As I've told everyone else, I'm driving this baby til the wheels fall off, and when that happens, I'm gluing them back on and driving it some more. I never saw myself becoming a fanatic over a car until I bought this one. Amazing how a little chrome and some red paint can change all that. It breaks my heart to see expensive BMWs, cadillacs, etc... driving around with globs or dirt or swirls so bad it looked like someone went figure skating on the paint surface. Those cars cost 2-3 times as more than my car, why buy new if you aren't going to take care of it? It baffles me.
