Hi,my name is Vic and I am interested in learning how to clean a new white M3 the right way. I will not be taking this car to any knid of car wash like I have with all my cars, my last new black BMW had many swirls, this ride is the sweetest I have ever owned and I want it to look as new as the day I picked it up.

Hi Vic. Welcome to MOL.

Commercial car washes will strip your wax protection due to the strong chemicals which they use. They can also inflict some deep swirls into your paint. The best way is to wash your car by yourself. I would recommend a foam gun (if you have water hose available) and Meguiar's Water Magnet as a drying microfiber towel.
Regular maintenance with Ultimate Quik Wax and Ultimate Quik Detailer will extend the time of your surface to stay clean. You also need to clay/ clean your car as needed and don't forget wax protection 3-4 times per year.
These steps will make you enjoy your BMW rides even more.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I just hope I did not get in over my head with all these steps going overboard. From my other thread. I got all Megs car cleaning stuff, wash-dry 2 bucket system i will use, QD clay, if I see no swirls go right to glaze then #26 paste wax, swirl x just for the swirls I put in car in 2 tiny spots. Hope I got this right cause this will be alot of work.
