  • Greetings from the Tar Heel State

I have lost my mind over my new Nissan Altima 3.5 SR coupe (navy blue with blonde leather). I have been accused of spending more time with it than I do with my husband. It was driven here from a dealer several states away and either the car was vandalized in the lot at the initial seller, or the transporter "drove it like he stole it" all the way to Raleigh. In any case, it has a few admittedly minor appearance issues I don't believe a new car should have, and I am trying to learn how to improve them myself on this site.

I have several Meguiar's products and have shelved everything but them. I love the line and the shine I can get with it. I got my DA polisher today and, while my dearest is out of town, I am going to practice on his neglected 6-year-old VW! Hey, he treats it like a truck, so any improvment I can make in its appearance would be a gift.

I appreciate the generosity of the moderators and other posters who share what they've learned. If I come up with anything useful, I'll pass it along, too.
