  • A big hello from Portugal

    Hello,

like it is on the title, I'm from from Portugal (in Europe) and my name it's Miguel. The Defender it's because the Land Rover Defender, that it's one of the 4x4 that I most like, in the same line of Range Rover.

I'm a detailer (as hobbie) since 2005 and I'm also one of the responsables of the biggest detailing forum of Portugal (www detalhe net), with very pride.

I have several cars, however there are two that I have more "detail attentions". All of them have "detail attencions", but those two are special. One it's a Miata Special Edition (Britsh Racing Green with a camel interior and hood) and the other one it's a Jaguar X300/XJ Series.

This last one it was a big project, because I bought the Jag in not very good shape and after some time it's now in very good condition.

This is the car when I bought it (the boot):

Half polished (only with the cut stage):

I'm here on the Meguiars web forum because I had to paint some parts in the Jag, but sadly in Portugal the painjobs are not very good, so I need to made a wetsanding in those parts. I'm looking for a very specific materials, that I not founding here on Europe but i know that in EUA you have it, like softer sanding pads. I will ask it in other topic.

    My best regards,
    See you,
    Miguel

Hi Miguel, and welcome to MOL! That Jag looks gorgeous!!

Just so you know, we updated your image links so they would display in your post and we disabled the hot links as we don't allow those during a member's initial 30 posts.
