Hello from Los Angeles, California. I bought my first car last February -- a black 2003 Volkswagen Golf with a two-tone black/beige interior -- and I am absolutely in love with it. It's my first manual, too, and I consider it to be my training wheels before settling into my future Porsche.

The more I browse the forum, the more I feel Meguiar's really knows their stuff. I want to get my car looking the best it possibly can, but there's a lot that I don't know. So I've registered for a more personal Q&A. I hope my experience here will be extremely educational.

Will post my questions in due time. Meanwhile, here's a picture taken with my camera phone of my car on Highway 1, a California B-road that runs alongside the Pacific Ocean, during a sunset drive. Definately something to experience.
