    I never liked washing our cars...but really tired of the paint from car washes after several years.
    I will have much more enthusiasm to perfect my techniques.

    any guidance for starting out right with a new 2010 Ridgeline and Polished Metal Metallic (dark gray)...thanks

      I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

          Welcome to the forum! On your statement about looking for some guidance to start out with, I recommend you begin with the 5 step car paint care link in the site navigation area of this site. That will give you a great start. Then, either search out other topics or ask questions as need arises.
