How's It Going Everyone?
Hi there,
My name is Bobby Johnson. You can just call me Bobby or Bob, whichever you prefer is fine with me. I come from the great state of Texas, living on the north side of Dallas/Fort Worth Intl. Airport, in the northeastern part of the state, in a town called Colleyville. I came into the world of detailing cars when I was just 13 years old, starting with just the occasional "Hey, can you wash my car?" routine from my parents.
I'm now 20 and I have started my own mobile/ home-based car detailing business called Carchitects Auto Detailing (catchy ain't it?).
As my business grew with just a few clients from around the neighborhood, I began the process of "experimenting" you might say, with different brands, whom which I will not name, and just couldn't settle on one. Everyone around me kept telling me about Meguiar's and I will say, even though it took me a year or two to finally choose a brand, I am now a firm Meguiar's guy, and I don't think that I will ever use any other product out there.
My mobile detailing vehicle of choice is my family's custom ordered, one owner, 1996 Chevrolet Suburban LS that just turned over 220K miles. It's white with a navy blue underside, with a blue cloth interior. I got it for free from my dad, after he bought his BMW, not to mention after my last car was totalled in a 4 car pile-up. I take care of it regularly, as well as my mom's Galaxy Blue 2001 Mazda Tribute ES-V6. My dad's shadow gray 2005 BMW 325Ci hasn't experienced my detailing magic yet, partly due to the fact that 9 times outta 10, he's at work, and mostly, he only has time for a quick run through the wash. I'll be posing pics of all 3 when I can.
My business' clientele consists of a wide range of vehicles, ranging from my girlfriend's Sunflower Yellow 2004 Mazda 3 sedan, to some very expensive exotics. Names like Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Corvette ZR1, Maserati, and Lamborghini.
It's a great business and I'm very glad I have now found the Meguiar's Forums. It's good to find a forums dedicated to a very big passion of mine, CARS! Hope to be hearing from you guys very soon and I hope to be catching up with yall later!
