Hey all! I'm new to the forums here, but have been using Meguiars products for years. I'm a 28 yr old major gear head. I love working on cars, but mostly I love painting and detailing cars. I'm no professional, but I can still do some pretty mean paint and detail work.
I mostly joined this site to further my knowledge of properly detailing my car. Currently the most involved detail I do is a wash / claybar / wax / quick detail. It makes the car come out amazing, but I want to learn how to get the swirls out of the paint. I want to learn how to properly us a polisher; what compounds to use to achieve what results. Mostly, how clean can I make the paint before I have to start wetsanding.
I'm going to do my best to keep from asking questions everyone's already asked.
I'll do my best to research and study the forums, but I'm sure I'll be asking for tips and such eventually; especially with summer coming up! So if anyone has any tips, or good pages to read, please point me in the right direction and I'll get ta learnin'!
Here's some pics of muh baby just for good measure. Nice and shiney!

A careful eye might notice this car didn't start life as a T-Top. I grew tire of the hard top after a few years, so a friend and I converted it to a T-Top least spring.
