Hi there!
Have lurked a bit here, decided to register today. Hailing from Norway, not far from our capitol Oslo. Have done a fair few cars, stepped up from a no-name DA to a Metabo rotary this summer - and boy - I am not looking back. DA is only for final finishing or on tricky/sticky paint these days. Owning a Toyota I know a bit about soft / tricky paint...
Used almost a gallon of D151 so far with SB 2.0 pads and so1o wool pads, breaking in newly arrived 105 and 205 soon. Have used DC + scratch-x (1 .0 and 2.0) on DA / hand quite a bit, don't mind a bit of elbow grease
Purely a hobby of mine - I don't do this for a living or for profit. I just want to convert people away from sponge-washing using household detergents on their $100k++ cars... Usual way to convert is to do their car, show them before and after pictures and promise to knock them senseless if I see them washing with $1 sponges again.
I know a few of them now even make their kids remove their dirty shoes (and even the worst of the dirty clothes) before they get in the car being picked up from kindergarten or school...
Sorry about any grammatical errors - as English isn't my native language
