Since 2004, we haven't taken care of a vehicle as we once did before then. Our Old 99 Jeep wrangler wasn't built for show.. and I wasn't able to care for it as I have other cars in the past.
But things have changed this past week. Someone approached us with an offer to buy the old 99 Wrangler (which I painted Camo) and after careful thought, We decided to sell the old Jeep.. But what was next..
I recall in 2003 we had been eyeballing a 2003 Chevy Corvette Z06.. and I took care of it.. Attending local car shows and walking away with 7 trophies and 10 plagues I was very pleased at the whole outcome of the total maintenance and car care I was doing on the Vette.
Using products like Scratch-X and Bug & Tar Remover, It wasn't easy for these old hands of mine, but someone at these shows knew I put allot of time and effort into the car.
The Vette was lost in the storms of 2004 thus ending one year of extreme maintenance on a car I loved. I though those days would never return, Yet My arms and hands are not what they use to be. But The news isn't all bad.. After selling the Wrangler (which we never even cleaned) We made a leap forward into a new era.
Buying a used 2007 Jeep Commander.. I knew I had to rekindle those tips and tricks I once used when winning those trophies. So I'm hoping this forum will also have some tips and tricks of their own that will help in the over all appearance in our Jeep Commander.
I mean, Hey The Wrangler was meant for off roading.. Now we have moved into a new area.. The Commander is very capable of returning to the off road areas and the knowing that it can is gratifying.
So I look forward to your comments and suggestions relevant to the over all appearance of Our JeepLife's 07 Commander.
